Haircut Issues (again)

As those of you who have been avid readers already know, I have had some haircut drama in the past. It's that time for a haircut again and I am reaching out to you readers for some suggestions. Currently my hair is shoulder-length with long layers. It's too f*cking hot to blow dry and flat iron it every day, too unruly to let it just air dry, which means that on most days it is up in a messy ponytail/bun. I need some homo (and homo-friendly) help. Suggestions, links, opinions would be greatly appreciated in the comment section before I snap and shave it all off!!!

What's not to love, really?

I think you'd like really cute (correction cuter) with a shorter cut. Not mohawk short, probably chin length? Or shoulder length hair with some layers makes it manageble too.

Though I am not exactly the best person for hair advicehaha.

LMAO from the pic, although he's close to being in style with the faux mohawk!

Hair issues are not good. My Wife is going thru that again and I can't wait for her to do something about it.

I was up in Long Beach a couple weeks ago. Check out the White Dykes (though I'm not so sure you could go to that extreme) and the Black Dykes...I kinda like the latter. Good Luck!

I have the hair do that is shorter in the back and then longer in the front . .always long enough to tuck behind my ears . . .i have very straight hair and every time i go to get my hair cut i want to do something drastic . . i did shave it once and it was.not.pretty.

it never looks as good as it does when she does it, and you are right, blow drying is overrated and it is too hot for that.

good luck. email me if you want a picture . . .

If you need it straighter, (not totally straight) no pun, REALLY! and not fly away either, I use Paul Mitchell smoothing super skinny serum. Bit pricey at 15 a bottle but you don't need much, and it lasts a long time. I have long hair now and I use two squirts, you rub it in when it is wet. It also gets all the tangles out.

I'd go with a shag (shag haircut that is, though a shag of the other variety is always nice too), which is similar to what it sounds like you already have but is intended to be sort of unruly.

Propane Amy-I love the shaved head look on others, I however have a lumpy head and it would not be a good look on me!
